How can I rename multiple files to drop a prefix?

With Flash Renamer (a href="http://www.rlvision.com/flashren/about.asp)" rel="nofollow"http://www.rlvision.com/flashren/about.a…/a you can use the "remove" function and simply remove the first 6 characters, or the "replace" function and replace "Excel " with nothing! 5000 files is nothing for that program. I've used it for tens of thousands of files without problem!
