I think my teacher might know...?

I have recently developed a rather strong crush on a female teacher. I am female, as well. I don't actually have her for any cles, but I think she knows I like her. She has been avoiding me lately. I never overtly flirted with her, but I do say "hi," when I see her. Do you think she knows? What should I do? PS I'm not openly gay.
