Economic Meltdown - should i jump in to migrate to Australlia with my PR?

I am an electronic engineer with a sales background in to industrial sales, specifically instrumentation. I have PR visa for Australia. Now, due to this economic crisis i have a big question mark as in - to take a risk of leaving a "secured" job here and migrate to find one in a new land. Knowing that every body every where is laying off jobs.
