Is there any easy way to check if a piece of music is still under copyright?

I have some obscure rock records from the 60s that I am thinking about converting to digital. How can I check to see if they've gone public so I can add them to the web for posterity without shorting somebody? They weren't very popular back then but a few of us liked them. I'm intrigued by the way the web can be used to preserve things and add to the totality of human culture.

Oil furnace start up cleaning?

i clean my furnace every year to save money and because i know how to.i cleaned out all the dust/lint.took off the injector unit,pump,etc.cleaned out the hot box andtook off the top and went through the fins removing all the excess soot,etc.when i but it back together it started,lit for about 15 seconds with a weak burn and shut off.tried it two more times did the same thing.it is bleed and getting fuel has a new filter.i think the fuel tip needs to be replaced or maybe the pump is going bad.the unit is about6-7 years old did not have a problem with it last year.just when it sits over the summer the grates get plugged up with soot thats why i clean it.

Economic Meltdown - should i jump in to migrate to Australlia with my PR?

I have a Verizon LG env2. My mom doesn't know what she did, but I can't get notification alerts from Facebook, or ask/receive an answer from ChaCha. If I try to set up the Facebook notification thing on Facebook, I will get a text saying "Free VZW Msg. Your msg/request was blocked and was not delivered. Only the account holder can change your settings to allow access privileges." Same thing with ChaCha. My whole family is on the same Verizon plan, but I'm the only one with this problem. Hi there! Degenerative disc disease is an insidious condition. What you are experiencing is the effects if the degeneration progressing. The reason that it is on the right side only, is that is the side where you have compression of one or more of the nerves. You do not necessarily have to have pain or discomfort down your leg. Your pain and discomfort is directly related to exactly where the nerve compression is occurring. My advice would be to seek out a doctor that specializes in disorders of the spine. I most definitely can empathize with you. I just went through spinal surgery with fusion of 5 vertebrae. This was after years of degeneration and also a structural problem. Go find the best doctor that you can, but do not let them jump to a surgical procedure. There are other treatments that they can try first. I hope that this has been helpful to you. Do they make a chip that I can put in my cattle and then look on the Internet to see where my cattle are? My cattle run on alot of acreage and I can't find a heifer in time when she is calving. If I could insert a chip in my heifers and get her GPS coordinates, I could save more of my cattle. Please don't respond with the chips that have scanners. My understanding is you scan the chip and type in the general location of where you have them at in case anyone needs to track their general location. with a five gallon tank I'd avoid a large filter cause thats over doing it. There are some filters that use the motion of airbubbles ping through them to pull in debris and trap it for cleaning, these types of filters can be difficult to find though. A filter works in conjunction with 20% biweekly water changes. Your beta should be fine with or without a filter because they can breath air like we do and absorb oxygen from the water like other fish. As far as other fish and shrimp I would say try it out. I remember a friend thought his beta (siamese fighting fish) would beat up my cichlids, boy was he about to be wrong before we broke up the impending fight.

Try craigslist they usually have some cheap cars on there sometimes in that price range. The only thing many vehicles at that price either don't run or won't p a state inspection. It is stupid because when I am at the gym I only work my legs and theighs but all my weight just comes off my and arms which I don't need I look too scrawny! what I find helps is drinking plenty of water and fruit and veg etc...but also walking alot helps as well i found that since i started living in town where i walk EVERYWHERE my legs have really slimmed down and so has my it is getting down to a size 10/12 which is ideal :) good luck :)

2001 Mazda 626 Front End Issue?

Automatic. 166K miles Car shifts fine (no abnormal rpm vs. hp issue) Brand new tires. Car seems to have an abnormally loud whir from front right wheel area. (sounds like monster truck tire) Steering seems normal & tight, but it seems to occasionally on big road turns to over turn and quick counter-steering is necessary. Vibration is also felt slightly in the steering wheel & can be noticed throughout the dashboard. When hitting a big bump (rr tracks) a loud thunk is heard and can be felt in the drivers floorboard. Any ideas?

We own a vacant lot we are selling. Survey was done & found my neighbor's fence was 8 feet over on our property. We gave him copy last November. (The fence has been there less that the statute of 15 yrs, he’s been in house 3yrs) He hired an attorney who sent a two-line fax stating we could REMOVE the fence at our expense. We did and he and hit us with a lawsuit in excess of $10,000 for damages, attorneys fees, quiet title to our land & accusing us of tresping on his property to remove fence saying fence has been there 15yrs +. (aerial photo of prprty stamped 1992 shows NO FENCE around his prprty).I’ve hired an attney to defend, but says if it goes to litigation, could cost upto $15,000 to defend. Is there action I can take against neighbor to collect att fees? My attny said his attorney screwed up bad. Can I file malicious prosecution or abuse of process? We have filed our “answer” denying all. How can we get this thrown out?

Noisy worcester 24i junior boiler - is it the fan or the pump?

I have a noisy boiler (which I have posted on before!) and I want to replace it but can't afford it! The noise I believe to be the fan - I can only describe it as a loud whirring sound... Can I take the catalytic converters off my 03' F-150?

I have a 2003 F-150 with the 5.4L Triton. I put a single in dual out super 44 but its just not loud enough.... I have 1 catalytic converter and a resonator on each side of the Y pipe (2 cats and 2 resonators all together). I was gonna cut the cats off but there is an O2 sensor in front of and behind each set of cats and resonators. So I didn't do so because i didn't want my truck to throw a check engine light. Other than buying high flow cats as we all know they are expensive is there any way around this problem? Someone told me that they have O2 sensors which they use on mustangs where as when you cut the cats off you replace the stock sensors with those? But i wasn't really sure what they were talking about.... Also I have the option of gutting the cats but not sure how that works

seems that because introverts are more observant, ytical and sensitive to people's emotions. Its easier for them to read people, and once they do figure the person out they can project their image to the way they want people to see them. But for extroverts their trying to get approval so much that they dont have time to break down and understand why people do the things they do. And they put this facade up of being funny, outgoing, the charmer, center of attention. But introverts can read through that as all insecurities, and use it to the best of their abilities. whats your opinion?

No I do not think that is a good enough reason to take the child. I don't know the whole story, do you have the link? Anyways I do not think that just because someone has a mild disorder that their child should be taken from them unless there is something else going on. I have an example, my niece has a developmental reading disorder so technically in school she had a special ed cl. And so she has a "disorder" but in no way does that make her unable to parent her child. Her parents tried to use her "disorder" to persuade her that she is simply not "fit" to be a parent, they made an adoption plan for her and umed she would follow in line. She was heart broken, so we took her in, she is now the mother to a beautiful, wonderful healthy and might I add perfect little one who is now almost a month old! She is a great mom and has the full support or my husband and I even though her own parents did not believe she was capable of being a mother. I think people who are differently abled should not be placed under an umbrella of "not good enough to be a parent" and if someone is suffering from AD-HD or depression but is able to control it and provide their child with a safe, loving home where all their needs are met than nobody should stand in their way. We should support these indivduals rather than uming they are not good enough.

Natural slate flooring?

My kitchen floor is half concrete and half floorboards, I have been told 2 different stories of how to put the natural slate tiles down on this. 1 says the tile can be put straight over the floorboards and concrete with a special adhesive, the other says it needs board down first on the concrete and floorboards, which is right. also in the shop the tiles werent sealed and they looked really different to the ones we got even though they were the same tiles. He said its because the shop ones hadnt been sealed. Do we have to seal the tiles as they looked nicer without the sealer they looked more natural. Or could we wait until they were worn a bit then put sealer on.

I live in a townhouse which is divided on either side by a cinder block wall. On the inside there is drywall. Every once in a while I hear a thump noise. It is fairly infrequent. We live by a busy street, and sometimes noises reflect, but this sounds like it's coming directly through the wall. Is it possible that even with cinder block I can hear my neighbor if they bump against the wall? I know if I hit my wall I hear the drywall resounding, but would that carry through?

Small claim: how can I inform I'm not liable?

We have a rented apartment. Our tenant is really responsible. The leasing agreement has a clause that specifically says that it is tenant's responsibility all appliances repairs in case of needed. Now it seems that our tenant had a problem with a repair performed to a dryer machine which is part of the apartment, and the guy brought our tenant to small court for the first time and didn't showed up, so the case was ‘dismissed without prejudice’ which means he could set a new claim. Now he is bringing my tenant to small court for the second time but he included me and my spouse on it, and also he placed a lean on the property. We know that my tenant has enough proof that the repair wasn't done at all, so we do not have problems with our tenant, we do believe on her and we could actually see that she is right. But the date the three of us have to go to court (april 4th) my husband and I will be out of the country. Besides that, we don’t really want to be bothered by something that we don’t have any responsibility. The small court is located in Burbank CA. What should my husband and I suppose to do in order to avoid going to court with no risk? Should we contact somebody at court with the leasing agreement copy to show that it is a problem between the technician and our tenant? Should we submit it to some place? Should it be enough that my tenant goes to court that date with the leasing contract in order the judge get proof that we are not involved in the matter? We don't want to have a court problem, but we are not able to cancel our trip either... and we don’t want to be involved… so what to do? Some place/website to call or visit to get information about next steps with no risk to lose the case and redirect it to our tenant alone? Thanks
